Keto-off Sips and Scandals

Naturally, after we start a show about drinking my co-hosts wanted to quit drinking to lose weight. Wow, thanks guys. So instead of me drinking alone, because damn it we’re not quitting, we agreed on a Keto cocktail off while we discussed the 2019 Oscar nominations.

We invited our friend Caitlyn on to judge our carb friendly beverages. We attempted a Keto Mojito, Keto Blood Orange Jalapeño Margarita, and a simple Vodka/Sparkling Water.

2019 Oscars Party! Ballot, Bingo, and Food

It is absolutely no secret that Oscar Sunday is my FAVORITE Sunday in the entire calendar year. Nothing comes close to that magic. I love the champagne, the fashion, the Leo snubs deserved awards. I love the Oscars so much, I went to the red carpet last year and screamed at celebrities. No, for real, check it out. Pssssttt….The freebies are at the end! Scroll down.

Sips and Scandals Episode 5

Well, well, well…… They have finally given in. I was allowed to get us the champagne served at Kate & William and Harry & Meghan’s wedding receptions. I am a Royal Family junkie, let me enjoy things. So, they agreed to split the cost so we could use it for the show. Honestly though, it was only like $65. The Queen is frugal, but I would be too if I had to serve beverages to hundreds of elites.

It’s Global Champagne Day Bitches

Posted in Dranks, Just Me., Lifestyle by

I read somewhere on the Internet that October 19, 2018 is Global Champagne Day (not to be confused with United States National Champagne Day, which is New Years Eve). So it must be true and I’m running with it. Finally a holiday I can wrap my mind around. What is better than celebrating a drink that you use to celebrate things with?? It is the Inception of holidays.

Royal Wedding READY

I cant remember when I started to like champagne exactly. I always liked mimosas….like a lot, because I love brunch (aka doing my drinking during the day time). Then, one day, I had a realization…”I can drink this without the orange juice…….” The rest is history.

Welcome to Sips and Scandals

Oh, hello!

A couple of the most wise girls I know (here and here) have said similar things that resonated with me lately. It all boils down to, if you wait for everything to be perfect before you start something, you’ll never start.

So, here is something new I’m trying. Its raw and awkward and well, its real. The name isn’t set in stone and we wonder off here and there but as far as I’m concerned….it only gets better from episode 1.

Count down to the Golden Globes. AKA the start of AWARD SEASON.

2 words. Award. Season

(Skip to the bottom for the drinking game)

I live for award season. I have my sheets, my data, my research, MY CHAMPAGNE, and I’m ready. The Golden Globes is often referred to the beginning of red carpet (award) season. The kick off the season and the larger awards follow afterwards. Not that the Golden Globes ARE NOT an important award, they are just the most fun so they are taken less seriously. The Golden Globes are mostly known for the bottomless supply of Moët, a.k.a, my wildest dream. I actually purchased moët champagne sippers for splits of champagne (available on ebay). So mixed with the endless champagne, and the first red carpet of the year, it makes for a very very interesting show. And I like to drink along..

Friendsgiving 2017

Alright, I’m gunna be real right up front here. Our friendsgiving looked nothing like that beautiful photo at the top that my mother took. Ours involved a lot space heaters and lawnmowers, IT HAD CHARACTER.

However, it was a perfect friendsgiving. If you’re lost, let me help you. Friendsgiving is what you wish your real thanksgiving was. Instead of sitting around your grandmas plastic covered table to eat dinner at 7:30 in the morning while listening to your weird uncle talk about gun control and Ronald Reagan, you get to be with your FRIENDS.

Everyone gets assigned a dish to bring and you roll up to someones house with your arms full of hot dishes, like those black Friday commercials when the moms roll out of the mini-van in slow motion, and you get down. Read more…
